Gentle Years Yoga is a specialised class aimed at the over 60s, with gentle yet invigorating moves designed to strengthen muscles, increase flexibility and mobility, as well as to promote an all-round sense of wellbeing.
Chairs are used for seated exercises and to aid in balance when exercising from standing. Modifications are given for vulnerable areas, such as knee or hip replacements, as well as other conditions. The mood is relaxed and chatty and there is always coffee and cake afterwards to have the chance to chat and mingle.
