BWYQ Teacher Training Diploma

The new BWYQ 500 hour course taught by Diploma Course Tutor Laura Bissell will have 245 tutor contact hours.

Venue: Yorkshire Yoga & Therapy Centre – map/directions

Induction Days: Saturday, 25 February 2012 and Sunday, 25 March 2012, £30 each. BWY has specified that attendance at two Induction Days is compulsory prior to acceptance.

Tuition Fees: £500 deposit upon acceptance; £100 a month standing order for the 24 months of the course. This includes the residential weekend and the cost of your observation/examination fees.

Meeting Days: Sat & Sun 9am-6pm every other month, except for Sept-Oct-Nov 2012 & 2013 when we will meet monthly

Residential Weekend: in lieu of normal September 2013 weekend (subject to change of month)

Qualifications Achieved: BWYQ Diploma, Level 4 on the National Qualification and Credit Framework – The British Wheel of Yoga Diploma Course is one of the approved training providers on the Register of Exercise Professionals and Laura Bissell is a licensed BWY Diploma Course Tutor.

Register of Exercise Professionals: The qualification allows you to join the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs). You will be able to renew your membership each year at a reduced rate through the British Wheel of Yoga. CPD is also kept up-to-date on REPs via your CPD entries at the British Wheel of Yoga.

Prerequisites:

Candidates must be computer literate and have daily access to the internet for electronic submission of written work and assessments.
